Absolutely, we will gladly accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of delivery. All shoes must be unworn and free from any blemishes and in the original packaging. For instructions on how to return, please visit our exchanges and returns policy at the bottom of the page.

All our sandals are entirely handmade by artisans in Pakistan. Some are made by traditional craftsmen carrying on the tradition of Peshawari chappal making at the base of the Hindukush mountain range, whereas others are made by modern shoe makers with a propensity for innovation in Lahore. Each shoe model is made by a different atelier focusing exclusively on that one model. As a result, each sandal will look and feel slightly different from the next.

Since the sandals have adjustable straps, you have the ability to tighten or loosen to get the perfect fit. Rumiya sandals run true to size - If you normally wear size 11 in your dress shoes, you should buy size 11 here. You have a ½ size buffer, allowing you to right size it for your maximal comfort.  If you're a half size (say 10.5), go up to the next whole size (11) and simply tighten the straps for a locked-in feel.

Building on centuries of traditional sandal design, we still conducted extensive research and developed several prototypes before landing on these final models. This was all done to ensure that the shoes are supremely comfortable out of the box. However, over time the foam and cork midsole will mould to the exact shape of your foot making them the perfect fit for you.

These sandals are pretty hardy but depending on the ones you buy, some might be hardier than others. Don't step in puddles, dust them off when you get home and wipe them down regularly and they will last you. For optimal appearance and longevity, use a microfiber cloth with clear color-safe shoe wax on them once a week and a suede brush for the insole.

Delivery generally takes between 6 - 12 business days, often arriving faster

Rumiya exclusively uses premium leather for the uppers, suede for the lining, and rubber for the outsole. Our footbeds are constructed using layers of cork, super soft foam and waterproof leatherboard for added stability.
